Quick Chat about… why Stranger Things isn’t strange at all

Why have I only just discovered the series Stranger Things on Netflix when it’s in its fourth series?

And why can’t I stop watching it? Or thinking about it? Or dreaming about it?

And why is my favourite number of the moment now Eleven?

This program is just all things addictive. If you haven’t seen it yet, start watching with caution because it WILL make you want to NOT:

…do the work you’re paid to do at home – if you’re supposed to be working from home.

…make that nutritious meal from scratch for your kids when they get home from school because you won’t want to pause it for any longer than it takes to put a pizza in the oven.

…go into the shower. Now i’m not saying that was what it made me want to NOT do (even though in the spirit of full disclosure mines were a little quicker when it was on) but for some of you …it’s a risk to consider before you press PLAY on this program.

You have been warned.

WRITERS TIP

Oh…did I forget to mention that this blog is meant to be about writing? Fiction writing specifically? I think maybe I got a little carried away off topic.

Anyhoo, I’m back on track and it’s only right that I add SOMETHING to do with writing, right? So here’s my writing tip for today:

Writing is just like talking on paper…or a computer…or a tablet…but not really like your phone because you can actually talk on your phone. Anyhoo, the tip I’m trying to give is – if you can talk, you can write.

P.S. Back off topic again for a second – is there a series you’ve watched that just made you want to put your life on hold until it was done? Tell me about it in the comments below! 😊 (Okay and maybe I need some recommendations as I’m at a loss until they make series 5!)
