Quick chat about…writing blogs about writing

I’ve always wanted to do a blog about writing. But then I also wanted to write a blog about… well, just stuff.

But is there an unwritten law about that? Do you have to write about either or neither? One or none?

‘Cos sometimes i might want to write about writing and another time i might want to write about how i cover my eyes while watching Gangs of London because some of the scenes are just…extremely violent, but then uncover them again two seconds later because the story is SO good! (Now showing on Netflix – gory, but highly recommended!)

Anyhoo, back to my point – so why cant i do both? Aint nobody the boss of my blog ‘cept me, right? (which is incorrect grammar by the way, so don’t take that as an example of my writing offerings)

So, i’ve decided I SHALL do both. I shall write about writing stuff AND I shall write about…non writing stuff.

It all words after all – so technically it’s still a ‘writing’ blog of sorts isn’t it?
And so is borne this writing blog for writers and also for readers who might just want to read the musings of a writer.

WRITERS TIP

I think it only right to actually write something about writing if I insist I am a writing blog. So. This is a little tip for the actual writers and writers-to-be out there:

I before E except after C

Grammar is important. See. Now officially a writers blog.
