To be honest I took one look at the cover and thought it’s not the sort of book I would read, but once I started to read it, I found myself hooked. By the time I realised I was at chapter four. This book has taught me one thing, do not judge a book by its cover. You’ve got to read it first. Can’t wait to read the follow-up.

Pick it up if you enjoy contemporary romance with humorous elements and a secret that drives social tension. What I enjoyed most was the balance between humor and heart. The story gave me plenty of LOL moments, especially whenever Gina tries to dodge her family and friends matchmaking schemes. At the same time, the book has a deeper emotional thread about identity, vulnerability, and what we hide from the world. It’s handled gently, warmly, and in a way that made me genuinely care about her journey.
